The Dark Knight Rises Again At The Box Office

"The Dark Knight Rises" continues to dominate at the US Box Office for a second week in a row coming in at number 1 with an estimated take of $64 million. In the 10 days that the movie has been in theaters, it has brought in a total of $287,851,000. Avengers in its first 10 days had brought in $373,071,647.

Coming in at number 2 is "Ice Age: Continental Drift" with an estimated take of $13.3 million, and the new Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn and Jonah Hill comedy "The Watch" opened at number 3 with an estimated take of $13 million.

The dance thriller "Step Up Revolution" opened at number 4 with an estimated take of $11.8 million while "Ted" rounded out the Top 5 this weekend with an estimated take of $7.3 million.

The ten estimated top-producing motion pictures for the weekend, per data collected as of Sunday, July 29, 2012 include:

1. The Dark Knight Rises: $64,075,000
2. Ice Age: Continental Drift: $13,300,000
3. The Watch: $13,000,000
4. Step Up Revolution: $11,800,000
5 Ted: $7,353,000
6. The Amazing Spider-Man: $6,800,000
7. Brave: $4,237,000
8. Magic Mike: $2,580,000
9. Savages (2012): $1,753,000
10. Moonrise Kingdom: $1,387,000
