X-Men: First Class Director Mad About Cast Photo Getting Online

According to /Film, "X-Men: First Class" director Matthew Vaughn is none-to-happy with the cast photo that first appeared online the other day on MSN.com, and then later was pulled. Vaughn seems to even goes as far as to say that the image is fake.
ďI freaked out on them yesterday. I donít know where the hell that came from. I donít think itís a Fox image. Itís not a pre-approved image. When I found out, I said, what the f@#k is this sh#t, and Fox is running around trying to figure out what happened as well. I agree. Itís like a bad photoshop, which maybe it was by someone. It didnít reflect the movie. I was shocked when I saw it. I was like ĎJesus ChristíÖ
MSN wasn't the only national media outlet to show this image though. Yesterday Yahoo.com posted a hi-res version of the same photo as well as a number of other outlets. There has been quit a bit of complaints coming from Internet fans (I know shocking right) which makes one wonder if someone isn't trying to do damage control here, but in all honesty it is pretty hard to believe someone at Fox faked a image and sent it out to the media?!?
I am sure we will hear more about this in the coming days, in the meantime though check out two more images from the movie featuring Magneto with his helmet and Xavier doing his mutant mind tricks thing on someone... Maybe he's trying to make us all forget we saw that cast photo?
X-Men: First Class is slated to hit theaters on June 3, 2011 from 20th Century Fox.
